Beacon Poet Laureate 2025-27

The Library is excited to announce a call for submissions for the position of Beacon Poet Laureate! This two-year term, running from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2027, is open to residents of the Beacon City School District 18 and older.

Monthly Committee Meetings: Tuesdays at 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Check calendar for specifics.

Staff Meetings: Third Wednesday of the month from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM. The library will open at 10:30 AM on these days.

At Howland Public Library, we provide a wide range of services, resources, programs, and collections tailored to meet the needs of diverse age groups in our community.

Young adults can explore a variety of YA novels, graphic novels, e-books, and audiobooks. Join our Teen Advisory Group and help select programming, resources, and collections for teens.

Children
